I've had some fun crafting lately and of course I've been using my Cricut! This is a simple, grey, 2-sided, 16x16 pillow that I stenciled using freezer paper, craft paint and of course the CRICUT!
It was SO easy!

Anyway, the whimsical pillow will keep my hubby guessing- or not!

New Shop!

Wow- Its been forever since I've blogged! Lots of new changes in the store starting with the BUILDING! We recently purchased a new location that will definitely suit our needs better. There will be a focused area for the Scrapbooking and crafts and a dedicated, out of site area for my printing mess. No more paper and printing projects everywhere when you come in. (That's the plan anyway!)
Hubby and I have worked like crazy sprucing the place up. No more bars on the windows or industrial blue carpet. We look forward to you coming in and checking out the new space!

Lots going on here. I'm currently working to finish a clients album. Thanks, Lisa for trusting me with your family's heritage. Your pictures are a beautiful memory to cherish. I hope you enjoy your 'new' album. I'm also working to finish an album from my cousins recent wedding and my trip to Wichita. Looking forward to having these done so I can do some scrapping for myself!

Choose your own papers from the store and make this fun chipboard album using approximately 6, 2.5"-3" photos of your choice and bind it with the Zutter binding machine. Brag book, vacation, family remembrance, etc.; this little book will help you remember those special memories!

I'm super excited for the crop on Saturday! I have 2 Hawaiian vacation albums to get finished and I'm looking forward to actually getting some of my own scrapping done (well almost). We've been back from Maui for almost 3 months and I really would like to finish up the wedding-Maui album to give to the newlyweds before they're old and grey!
I'm looking forward to scanning a few and posting them for you! In the meantime, stop in on Saturday the 9th and say hello!

Wow, it's so hard to believe that the kids are back in school and fall is upon us. What ever happened to our sunny summertime? It flew by so quick I think I almost missed it.
I have done a little re-arranging at the shop. The layout wall is growing and I really think it's fun. I'm hoping to do something similar in my house (when I have one!) I will try to take a picture and post it soon.
I did a little scrapping with a friend a couple weekends ago. 'Got a few layouts done. One for the dog album and a few of the girls. ScrapPink is coming up (Oct. 18) and I really hope that I can get a good turn-out. I would really like to make this a big event. And what could be funner that getting together with your girlfriends; eating chocolate and catching up on your hobby that you love?! Call me.
I'm getting the itch to have some professional photos taken. I see some shots in magazines and get so jealous! We haven't had a family shot *professionally* taken in years! There is someone new in town, maybe I should give her a call. I'm thinking photo for Christmas would be a great gift for the family. Or maybe I should just set up some drapes in my shop and try to get a good portrait of the girls. I did get asked to shoot a wedding in the spring. That was a nice boost to the ego :) 'We'll see... they still don't have a venue and a date set.
Anyway, enough of my ramblings for now, will try to get some pictures posted on this boring blog soon!

I did a bit of scrapbooking this weekend at the Scrapbooking for a Cure in Cosi. (thanks for the invite, ladies!)
I got a few pages in the dog album done and a few started in our Vacation in Moab album. All in all I fee that I got a bit accomplished for a change. It's hard to make time for scrapbooking lately!
Next crop is on June 14th, here. Hopefully you can all join me in some chocolate-eating, mess-making, scrapbooking fun!

News and Rumors!

The crop is next weekend, the 11-13 and I'm SO excited! A weekend of totally selfish scrapbooking! WooHOo! I just ordered nearly 300 pictures from YorkPhoto.com and so I have fresh pics to work with. I plan to work on a book for the new puppy ( I know, ridiculous!) I also now have pictures from Christmas, an RV trip, a wedding, a fashion show, etc! I can't wait to get going on them! I will try to share some layouts here when I get back.

RUMORS- - - -
Well you may have heard some rumors about moving the store. Plans aren't finalized, but they are in the works and hopefully I will have all the fun details to share with you soon! A move means dedicated scrapbook space, book reading area, Kids room, MORE PRODUCT, invitation displays, etc! I am SO excited, it can't some soon enough. We are waiting on the final details.....
I will keep you posted!

TONS of new products.
I am SO excited to have the new acrylic stamps in stock! They are such a blast to use and add such class to your projects. If you have never seen an acrylic stamp used, please stop in and let me show you how fun they are to use.
We also have reorganized some of the store and have the Karen Foster Stickers and paper in the same area. It's now so much easier to find the coordinating stickers to match the patterned paper. The new collections are really fun to create with.

The April kits are out and they are darling! They are bright and cheery and Easter themed. They are made by Doodlebug Design and include ribbon, bazzill cardstock, stickers, sequins and brads! Everything you need for SEVERAL projects! As always, when they are gone- they won't be re-ordered. Get yours while you can!

My Minds Eye Sale
It's time to bring in some new papers and I need your help clearing off the racks! All next week the Beautiful MME Bohemia line will be on Sale @ 25% off! This includes titles, tags, paper, etc. These collections are so easy to work with- they are already coordinated. Just add your pictures!

New Store Hours
Starting April 14th we will be closed on Saturdays. I will be here Monday- Friday and by appointment or for scheduled crops on Saturdays. If you need something on a Saturday, please call first to see if someone is available. I may extend the hours to open at 10 am. We'll see how this goes.

Saturday Make-N- Take

New Class
Monday, Feb 12th we will be offering an altered frame photo decor class. The cost of the class is $18. The frame would make a great Valentine gift for your honey or maybe even for Grandma. Participants may personalize their own to match their specific pictures. Frame is layered and embellished on the top with added rub ons, ribbons, etc. Don't miss this one!

We have some exciting new products in stock! We have the new stamps from 7 Gypsies. A few are self-inking and we also have 4 sets of words stamps. These are great for Scrapbooking OR card making. I have made a few projects with them and will put them on the blog for you (and below) to see. We will also be showcasing them with a Make-N-Take on Saturday (Jan. 27) from noon to 3 o'clock. Stop in and make a quick LOVE tag for your Valentine! We also have some large wall text letters available from Making Memories. These can be used to decorate your home or put them on a scrapbook page. I have used them to decorate my daughter's wall. Check them out below.
